About

Rafael at Yards Park bridge

A native of North Bethesda, Maryland, I am a fourth-year student at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University, pursuing a B.S. in Architecture and a Minor in American Studies.

Architecture and design have fascinated me for many years, as has American automotive design. Baseball (statistics, history of the game and its ballparks) as well as photography are also strong interests of mine.

In my spare time, I perform with a choral ensemble and an a cappella group at Temple, having performed at prestigious concert halls including the Music Center at Strathmore and the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. I’ve also sung for celebrities and heads of government, such as the National Governors Association, Tony Bennett, and Julie Andrews.

My extensive exploration of the history of buildings on Temple’s campus led me to become an Owl Ambassador, where I get to share my love for and knowledge of the university with prospective students and parents as a campus tour guide.
